The asset-managing GmbH can offer significant advantages over direct investment in private assets in the context of medium and long-term capital and tangible assets. Especially for wealthy families, wealthy private individuals, entrepreneurs or asset-managing companies with the aim of structured asset accumulation, it is worth carefully examining whether a GmbH structure makes sense for the planned investment strategy.

Tax advantages arise, for example, from the privileged taxation of gains from the sale of shares and - under certain conditions - from the comparatively low current taxation of property income within the GmbH. The accumulating effect can lead to a long-term tax deferral effect.

However, possible disadvantages should also be taken into account. These include ongoing operating expenses, bookkeeping obligations, costs for tax advice and annual financial statements as well as the limited offsetting of losses compared to private asset management.
